Science Library Experience
So, I just tried out the video game checkout at the UO science library that our very own librarian Annie Zeidman-Karpinski worked so hard to make happen. Although there was a tiny mixup due to a last-minute change prompted by the assistant dean, everything went rather smoothly. I checked out a Wii, which came professionally packed in a metal case that neatly contained all the components. The only difference between this and an ordinary book checkout was that I had to initial the checkout policies and sign a sheet saying that I agreed they had given me all the various pieces.
Overall, very pleased with the whole process. Great work Annie!
