A Target Experience
I’m about to take the bus home, so I opened the box I got from target to see if there were sub-boxes so that I would only have to carry the cookie-sheet box (yay!). Imagine my suprise when I open the box and see a “Scalloped Heart Cake Pan” instead of the bundt pan that was supposed to be one of the items in the box! (The cookie sheets were there though). To make things even odder, the cardboard label that wraps around the pan, normally, was torn, and the whole thing was shoved into a plastic bag marked “Kitch Bund Pan Toffee”, which was the pan I originally ordered.
Anyway, I called Target just now on the 800 number and got through to someone in under a minute of holding, who immediately started apologizing when I explained my situation. To make a long story short, they’re sending me a bundt pan ASAP, and when it gets here, I’m supposed to call them back for them to arrange a UPS pick-up of the cake pan.
In other words, target customer service didn’t seem to suck, contrary to expectations!
